The summits of the Dolomites, which surround Val Gardena, have been granted UNESCO World Heritage Site status and offered special protection. Climbers have the opportunity to see the beauty of these mountains with their own eyes. Whether you’re a fan of mountain climbing, sport climbing or bouldering, Val Gardena has everything you need for an extra special kind of climb. Alpine climbers are in for a real treat as they can climb the Langkofel with a mountain guide and explore other Alpine routes. Alongside the Langkofel, the Sass Rigais and the Furchetta will take you to heights of more than 3,000 metres.
